NiNi Cuddles

What a weekend! I spent Easter weekend with my grandson and his Mommy; it was just what this NiNi needed! I drove down Friday evening after work, what a long trip to do by yourself (5 hours) but so worth it when I heard his little voice on Saturday morning! My NiNi heart was so full and had lots of laughs with all his new tricks and just the sound of his sweet little voice makes me smile. We flew a Chase kite (Paw Patrol is his love currently), tried our best to hunt easter eggs, but we definitely enjoyed lots of bubbles! This boy loves chips & salsa and fruit, “NiNi, apple, nanana (banana)” was something I heard quite often on my trip. For his nap on Sunday, he was afraid to go lay down because I think he thought NiNi was leaving, but I reassured him that “NiNi will be here when you get up buddy, so go take your nap with Mommy.” I was surely sad to come home after the 2 short days spent with the two of them, but life carries on and with it much responsibility to include keeping all of you posted to events or happenings!
